This is an original censored WWII Army Cover (envelope with bicolored border) dated July 12, 1944 and is franked with stamp #C25 "Air Mail". The envelop was sent by Pfc. Robert A. Costello to Mrs. Kate Costello (his sister) of
4 Third Street, Gloversville, New York. Nevertheless the envelope contains nothing.
The address the envelope was sent from was APO #83 which was somwhere in France on this date.
At the time this letter was send, July 12, 1944, the 330th Infantry Regiment was cleaning the Le Port peninsula in Brittany, France.
